Vanessa A. Woulfe (vaw) offers somatic coaching and movement therapy, as well as a variety of community workshops and gatherings. As a dancer and integrative somatic trauma therapist, I draw upon my extensive movement background and ability to stay present and connected, to support you in feeling more at home in your body. Somatic awareness refers to the ability to observe and recognize sensations, emotions, and impulses within our bodies. Engaging in somatic and mindful movement sessions can help you develop a healthy sense of self-awareness and develop practices that can decrease the daily accumulation of stress in your life. Based in research on the nervous system and trauma, you will learn how to interact with yourself and others in a more compassionate manner, while inviting more pleasure into your daily life.
