As a wedding dance coach, Vanessa leads First Dance Company - a branch of Stellarfeels that offers couples dance lessons. First Dance focuses on helping engaged couples create their first dance as a married couple, as well as providing Dancing Date Nights for couples in Kamloops and surrounding areas. With over 20 years experience, we help individuals overcome their fear of dancing and gain confidence to enjoy magical moments on the dance floor. Lessons, workshops and packages are open to anyone who is interested in learning dances such as: Ballroom, Fox Trot, Waltz, Salsa, Two-Step, Bachata, and more!

Wedding Packages
First Dance +
$600
Five hours of personalized dance lessons customized to your wedding song and comfort level. This package should be booked 3-6 months in advance of your wedding.
First Dance Pro
$1000
Ten hours of personalized dance lessons complete with
learning difficult tricks to execute dance moves in style,
truly wowing your guests. This package should be booked
9-12 months in advance of your wedding to allow
dedicated time for practice.
First Dance Mini
$375
Three hours of personalized dance lessons to polish you up for your first dance if you forgot to book with a longer lead time. This package can be booked on short notice, about 1-3 months in advance.
Bachelorette Parties
$300
If you’re looking for a unique bachelorette party idea, bring your besties and learn some hot dance moves from one of the incredible instructors at Hillside Heels. Inquire with your ideas and we can whip up some fun & sexy choreographed moves done in high heels.
Date Night Dance Workshops
$75/couple
Date Night dance lessons are designed for beginners. You will learn basic footwork, turns, dips, pro tips on musicality, posing for photos and much more. The group lessons are small enough that you will receive personalized feedback by dancing with the instructors, as well as recording the moves and choreography to take home and practice before starting your private lessons or heading out to the dance floor!
We know date nights can get expensive, so we do our best to offer Childcare with our workshops. Children must be over 2 years old and there are limited spaces. Please inquire.
